After 10 years together, Kate and Peter are finally making it official and they’d love for you to come celebrate the day with a short ceremony in the backyard, followed by food and drinks.
What time should I arrive?
Feel free to show up any time after 1:00 pm.
We’ll hold a short ceremony around 2:00 pm.
And from 2:00 to sundown, we’ll hang out, eat food, and enjoy the great company of family and friends!
What should I wear?
Wisconsin backyard party casual! The festivities will take place in Kate’s parent’s backyard, with air conditioned indoor space available as well. Late July in Wisconsin sometimes means 90 degrees and 90% humidity, so short-sleeves and shorts are fine by us. Kate will most likely be wearing some kind of dress and Peter’s shirt will probably involve buttons.
What should I bring?
Just your smiling faces, sense of adventure and your own chair! If possible, we’d appreciate anyone who can provide their own chair for the backyard, thanks!
Can I bring my kids?
Absolutely! They should be listed in the invitation email. Reach out to Kate or Peter if you have questions.
Can I bring a +1?
Please check your email invitation for confirmation.
Where should I park?
There should be plenty of street parking in the neighborhood.
Where should I look for overnight accommodations?
There are a number of hotels in the area, but you may want to act quickly as EAA is going on nearby and rooms may be filling up quickly. (We asked them to reschedule, but haven’t heard back yet).
Do you have a registry?
Yes! At Target! But your presence is truly present enough (seriously)! We really appreciate people traveling on short notice.
